JOB DUTIES
Observe, oversee, evaluate, and provide for the plant health care needs of shrubs and trees at residential and commercial properties.
Diagnose and treat shrubs and trees for disease, insects, and other health issues
Apply fertilizers, insecticides, and fungicides accurately and safely on shrubs and trees
Follow and enforce company policies and procedures
Build and maintain a sales plan
Record keeping per MTS and State regulations
Uphold the DLC name maintaining positive customer relations and clear communication
Diagnose additional issues as necessary to expose upsell opportunities
Perform daily inspection of truck and equipment before taking the vehicle out on the road and upon return
Maintain vehicle and equipment through cleanliness, safety, and general maintenance
QUALIFICATIONS
Valid Driver’s License (required)
Colorado Certified Operator/Pesticide License/Experience Technician License is not required but preferred
Qualified Supervisor license preferred
One to two years of experience as a Plant Health Care Professional preferred
ISA Arborist Certification or the ability to obtain is preferred
Proven ability to identify local plants and diagnose common insect, disease, and abiotic issues
Excellent communication skills and customer service
