JOB DUTIES

  • Observe, oversee, evaluate, and provide for the plant health care needs of shrubs and trees at residential and commercial properties.

  • Diagnose and treat shrubs and trees for disease, insects, and other health issues

  • Apply fertilizers, insecticides, and fungicides accurately and safely on shrubs and trees

  • Follow and enforce company policies and procedures

  • Build and maintain a sales plan

  • Record keeping per MTS and State regulations

  • Uphold the DLC name maintaining positive customer relations and clear communication

  • Diagnose additional issues as necessary to expose upsell opportunities

  • Perform daily inspection of truck and equipment before taking the vehicle out on the road and upon return

  • Maintain vehicle and equipment through cleanliness, safety, and general maintenance

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid Driver’s License (required)

  • Colorado Certified Operator/Pesticide License/Experience Technician License is not required but preferred

  • Qualified Supervisor license preferred

  • One to two years of experience as a Plant Health Care Professional preferred

  • ISA Arborist Certification or the ability to obtain is preferred

  • Proven ability to identify local plants and diagnose common insect, disease, and abiotic issues

  • Excellent communication skills and customer service
